The golfing season begins…
Tis the season for golf to begin.
Last week we had the Bluebonnet Championship in Brownwood.
Following the Bluebonnet, I traveled to Houston to play in the WTGA’s Alliance Cup at Memorial Park Golf Course.

It is not often that a SCAD team gets featured on television, but on April 1, 2013 the Women’s Golf team was the focus on a sport’s segment on WTOC-TV. Coach Amanda Workman and several of the NAIA #1 ranked Lady Bees were highlighted on a sport’s feature that addressed their present ranking by the NAIA and their prospects of returning from nationals with a title under their belt.
Last season the Lady Bees came within three strokes of winning the 2012 NAIA National Championship. There are high hopes that this year could be the year that SCAD can bring the title home to Savannah.
